The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce will host its 2019 Human Resources Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 9 & 10, 2019 at the Charleston Marriott. This annual event provides the most up-to-date information available for Human Resource professionals in West Virginia. Learn about the latest trends and challenges in HR, and hear from experienced practitioners who can give you pointers on navigating these difficult issues.
This year's HR Conference will start with our inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Symposium on Tuesday, April 9th. This symposium will discuss the changing world in which we live and how ensuring diversity and inclusion in your business will bring important perspectives and benefits that will help grow your company.
The HR Conference continues on Wednesday, April 10th with a variety of practical sessions geared towards Human Resource professionals. Topics will include pay audits, succession planning, medical marijuana in the workplace, employee engagement, and best practices for employee off-boarding. Wednesday's luncheon will also include the presentation of the WV Chamber's prestigious Five Diamond Awards.
